'9-1-1' Fans Say Angela Bassett "Did the Thing" Flaunting a Red-Hot Pantsuit on Instagram
The 118 may be putting out fires every week on 9-1-1, but Angela Bassett is busy setting social media ablaze with her incredible fashion.
The actress attended the 2024 Disney Upfront event in New York City on May 14, where she and her fellow 9-1-1 cast mates celebrated a successful season 7 run on ABC. As she stepped out and posed on the blue carpet, Angela couldn't help but capture everyone's attention by swapping out her rescue gear for a red-hot look that blew everyone away.
For the highly publicized event, the Golden Globe winner stunned wearing a two-piece red pantsuit with a deep v-neckline and slim pockets sewn into the front of the blazer. Unlike most jackets in the same style, Angela's version just had one button, holding the entire look together. The matching pants were tapered down the leg, where they flared out into a wider hem and hit right below her ankles. The hue of the pantsuit was perfect for a standout fashion moment.
While the pantsuit definitely made a statement, Angela added to the overall ensemble with silver hoop earrings and matching heeled sandals. She wore her hair in long beach waves, and pulled everything together with makeup that made her skin glow for the cameras.
When 9-1-1's social team posted highlights of Angela on Instagram, fans were overwhelmed by how great she looked for the event.
"Red is definitely her color 😍😍," one person declared in the comments. "ANGELA BASSETT DID THE THING‼️" another exclaimed, referencing her viral social media moment from the 2023 awards season. "Our Gorgeous Queen! 😍👑," a different follower added.
