It's Always Sunny stars hilariously shut down affair rumours
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney have dismissed rumours that they have split up.
The co-stars tied the knot in 2008 and recently took to social media to defend their relationship as rumours of the couple going their separate ways emerged online.
Olson shut down the whispers with a funny tweet, as she shared an online article speculating whether McElhenney had an affair while in Wales.

Retweeting the article, she stated: "It was me who had the affair. But it was not with someone from Wales."
Building the tension, she continued: "It was with a whale."
"I've always loved whales. They're the bosses of the ocean and I'm attracted to power. We ask for privacy as we navigate this difficult time."

McElhenney got in on the action, and added: "Sad to admit that the rumor is true. However some of the details are…. incorrect."
Aquatic puns came in hundreds as fans commented on the post with statements such as "They had a whale of a time", "Definitely a sperm whale then" and "I wish you both whale".

Olson plays Dee Reynolds in the long-running show alongside husband McElhenney, who plays Mac.
McElhenney, who co-owns the North Wales football club Wrexham FC with actor Ryan Reynolds, is also one of the co-creators and writers on the show.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is currently on its 16th season.
The pair have two children together, Axel Lee and Leo Grey.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs on FXX and FX on Hulu in the US, while Netflix has the first 15 seasons in the UK.
