Ariana Madix Rewears Version of Her Scandoval 'Revenge Dress' for Fiery ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Debut
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star wore a cutout red dress — with a tango twist — that was very similar to the two-piece she wore while addressing Scandavol during the VPR season 10 reunion
Ariana Madix is giving her famous revenge look a new life.
Back in April, the Bravo star, 38, made headlines after filming the Vanderpump Rules reunion — which followed the televised cheating scandal (dubbed "Scandoval") involving her, her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval and their costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss — in a fiery outfit that the internet quickly dubbed her "revenge dress" moment.
For her Dancing with the Stars season 32 debut on Monday, Madix decided to nod to that moment and wear a version of the same look.
The new outfit was just as red hot and skin-baring as the original $995 crop top and $795 pencil skirt (both of which were from MONOT), but it clearly received the tango treatment as it was covered in sequins and featured a thigh-high slit.

Madix hit the dance floor along with her partner Pasha Pashkov to perform a saucy tango to Hailee Steinfeld's “Love Myself (Riddler Remix)” that earned the pair a score of 21/30.
In her intro package, Madix admitted that her life within the past year has been a "rollercoaster" but, by taking on the show, she wanted the world to know that the "scandal does not define me."
"Feeling like you were a joke to your partner of nine years and your best friend’s is devastating," she said. "But I want to show other women none of that stuff has to hold you back."
"This is going to be a more confident, fun and vibrant version of myself. Because I don’t need anybody else. I love me."
Judges Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed high praises for Madix, the latter giving her an extra boost of encouragement. “As a woman, cheaters suck, but you just showed anybody who is watching how you handle a cheater!” Inaba told Madix.
Ahead of her first performance, Madix told Entertainment Tonight that she hoped to spot her castmates in the audience. “I'm looking forward to seeing my girls come and support,” she told the outlet.

Scheana Shay was the first of her costar and friends to cheer her on in the crowd, as was Madix’s new boyfriend Daniel Wai.
Madix hopes that she’ll be able to stay long enough to take Shay and friend Lala Kent’s daughters to watch the show’s episode dedicated to Disney tunes.
"I really hope I can make it to Disney Week, because I really want Summer and Ocean to be able to come watch and see all the Disney dancers," she said of Shay and Kent's kids.
