BAFTA TV Awards 2023 winners are announced
BAFTA has announced the winners of the 69th BAFTA Television Awards.
The ceremony, which was presented by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, saw Bad Sisters, Derry Girls, Mood and I Am... Ruth collecting the top prizes in their respective categories.
Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters won the award for Best Drama, with Anne-Marie Duff also winning the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the series. Derry Girls picked up multiple awards, with Siobhán McSweeney winning Best Female Performance in a Comedy.
Ben Whishaw and Kate Winslet took home the top acting prizes for the Drama categories, but it was a bad night overall for BBC drama The Responder, which failed to land a single win despite going into the ceremony with a leading four nominations.
