Who was the best girls athlete of the fall sports season in Centre County? Vote now!

With the fall sports season now over, student-athletes around Centre County are reflecting on some monumental wins, including the Philipsburg-Osceola girls volleyball team. The team won its first state championship on Nov. 18 after a perfect 26-0 season this fall.

There were other standout athletes in golf, cross-country, soccer and field hockey, many of whom took athlete of the week honors through the season.

Now, the CDT is asking readers to vote for the best athletes of the fall sports season. Below are the eight nominees for girl’s athlete of the season, submitted by their school’s athletic directors.

Please remember that this poll (located at the bottom of this story) is just for fun and non-scientific. In fact, you can vote as many times as you’d like before the poll closes at noon Dec. 14.
