Chilean authorities have seized erotic copies of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ after they mistakenly made their way into primary school libraries – giving some students an early lesson in the naughtier side of ‘the birds and the bees.’

The book’s actual title is ‘Little Red Riding Hood Eats the Wolf’ and is a collection of six erotic shorts with explicit references, according to the BBC.

The tales include references to a sexual encounter between a teacher and student and the rape of a 13-year-old girl, according to the Daily Mail.

Teachers were reportedly only alerted to the blunder when a student came forward with some obvious questions.

“This book can cause irreparable damage to our students,” the mayor of Rio Bueno, where the books were first found, said in a statement. “To describe in such a detailed manner the violation of an underage girl does not help in any way in the education process of young children.”

Two-hundred-and-eighty-three schools across Chile mistakenly put the book on their shelves, according to the Mail.
