Fighter jet buzzes cars on Russian highway

While parts of Toronto may have felt like a war zone the past couple days because of the Canadian International Air Show at the CNE, none of the planes flew this close to the ground.

A couple was driving along an open stretch of road in southern Russia when they noticed a speck in the distance.

That speck got close in a hurry and turned out to be a Sukhoi SU-24 fighter jet buzzing the highway and soaring just metres above the roof of their car.

According to the Telegraph, some have questioned the authenticity of the video, but others say the planes are known for performing such stunts during training exercises.

If it seems like a lot of crazy videos shot from dashboard cameras come out of Russia, it's because they are fairly common and used to settle insurance disputes.
