It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s … a flying Christmas tree?

All we want for Christmas is for our tree to take care of its own tear-down and disposal after New Year’s, something this video suggests might be possible one day.

While it could be a long while before our tree just zooms away post-holiday, we’re happy to watch Otto Dieffenbach make his tree fly.

Dieffenbach gets to make things fly for a living – energy drinks, a TARDIS, billboards – for promotional purposes through his company Flyguy Promotions, using aerial drones and RC planes.

His latest aerial stunt involves a soaring remote-controlled Christmas tree.

We want one.

Last year, Dieffenbach made Santa Claus fly — without any reindeer.
