Six-year-old learns to “make better choices” after writing out a few lines of her punishment

Writing out lines as a form of punishment can be a gruelling task for any kid, but this 6-year-old has found an efficient way to get it around it.

Victoria Collier told her daughter, Isabelle, to write out “I will make better choices” on a sheet of paper hoping to teach her daughter a lesson after she got into trouble at school, Huffington News reports.

It turns out, a few lines down, Isabelle found a way to end her punishment quicker.

By the sixth line, the six-year-old started to connect the letters in the sentences by drawing several vertical lines straight down on the paper.

Then she added a few more necessary letters to complete the sentences.

A picture of the sheet was shared on Reddit by Collier’s friend with the caption: “My friend’s kid is going places.”

As the post racked up over two million views, many users were impressed by the little girl’s tactics.

“Efficiency is a value I admire and this was truly her way of getting it done,” Collier told Huffington Post.

She added her daughter’s “free spirit” and “silly responses, comments and questions” means their home is “never boring.”
