Classmates help boy with autism finish talent show performance

A 13-year-old with autism who fumbled the lyrics to ‘Let It Go,’ during his school’s talent show will never forget the support he received from his classmates during his performance.

In a video of the performance, 13-year-old Jagger Lavely makes it through the first verse seamlessly when things begin to fall off.

But thankfully for him, he chose just about the only song that everyone knows the words to – whether they like it or not. So, when he hits a rough patch, the audience at Oak Middle School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, can be heard singing the lyrics back to him.

Jagger’s mom, Stacey Lavely, who was at the show to support her son, called the students’ response “beautiful.”

“It was just that magical moment where it just felt like the entire community rallied around him,” she told WCVB.

Jagger, whose favourite movie is ‘Frozen,’ was appropriately outfitted in an Olaf costume during the performance. His mom told ABC News that he was “so excited” that everyone helped him out like that.

“They showed him that he is not disabled but he is just differently able-ed,” she said.
