WestJet has done it once again with their latest Christmas Miracle video to bring us all into the holiday giving spirit.

This year, the Calgary-based airline continued with its annual tradition of making miracles happen by performing acts of kindness for people around the world in just one day, according to a press release.

In their fourth holiday video, WestJet set out to make 12,000 “mini miracles” happen, which the team exceeded. They reached a grand total of 31,793 across 90 destinations in a 24-hour period.

WestJet employees are seen running around airports and streets donning blue Santa hats and giving out mini miracles to people. The Carol of the Blue Hats by Toronto Choral Society is heard playing in the background.

Miracles ranged from warm blankets for the homeless to giving every audience member at the Ellen Degeneres show two round-trip tickets to Vancouver.

“The video illustrates how the day played out,” Richard Bartrem, WestJet vice-president, of marketing communications, said in a release and reported by CBC News.

“It brings to life the human connection and joy that “WestJetters” spread from coast-to-coast and around the world.”

A Canadian veteran wounded in Afghanistan was also among the many to receive a miracle. WestJet surprised the veteran at the Calgary airport with a free vacation to Hawaii for his entire family.

Last year, WestJet’s Christmas Miracle video showed the airline bringing Santa Claus, snow, and gifts to a small community in the Dominican Republic.
