Apprentice 2012: James McCullagh exclusive on new candidates

The Apprentice 2012 candidates have been unveiled today amidst much excitement here at omg!

Here, Young Apprentice runner-up James McCullagh exclusively gives us his take on the new line-up's chances, putting Lord Sugar in a head-lock and why it's most definitely NOT Britain's Got Talent.

Back to the boardroom.

This year we have a real variety of candidates.

A wrestler, a show jumper, an ice skater and someone who played in the FA cup. But we do have to remember it's The *bladdy* Apprentice and not Britain's Got Talent.

Having watched the clips and read the bios I've picked a few people that I will have my eye on this series.

RICKY MARTIN: A recruitment team leader and a wrestler (when he's not living la vida loca that is). Being a "team leader" in his professional life will help on tasks and working in recruitment - as he is sure to have great people skills. If things do take a turn for the worst in the boardroom for him, he could always get good old Shugs in a headlock and make him tap out. I can imagine Nick Hewer diving in with a flying elbow while Karren gets the sledge hammer. But seriously I reckon Ricky will lay the smackdown on The Apprentice.

JANE McEVOY: She's Irish- and it's about time one of us brought some money back from the boardroom. I reckon her Irish charm and her experience in Co-Founding a business will take her far. Go Jane.

GABRIELLE OMAR: An architect-which looks to me like a ready made business plan. Lord Sugar definitely has put more emphasis on the importance of a plan- so even being blimmin brilliant like me the whole way through won't guarantee you the money. She definitely looks like a contender.
