$100K Worth of Jewelry Reportedly Stolen From Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough learned the hard way that expensive jewelry belongs either on you, or in a safe.

On Friday night, the "Safe Haven" actress reportedly parked her Mercedes at a friend's Hollywood apartment complex … and while inside, a thief reportedly broke into her car and stole $100,000 worth of jewelry given to her by boyfriend of nearly three years, Ryan Seacrest.

According to TMZ, three items were stolen, including a $50,000 watch. The site also reports that there were no visible signs of forced entry into Hough's vehicle, so she may have forgotten to hit the lock button before she left to visit her friend.

LAPD had no knowledge of the incident when contacted by omg! and a rep for Hough did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

It's been a rough week for Hough (rhyme not intended). On Wednesday, the former "Dancing With the Stars" pro had to undergo an apicoectomy root canal surgery – which, for those who don't know, is when you must have a second root canal after a previous one failed, (or worse, got infected). The 24-year-old posted a photo of her puffy face post-surgery on Instagram. "I've got chipmunk cheeks and Botox looking lips! Ha!" she wrote on Thursday along with the silly photo.

Which do you think was more painful for Hough … losing all that jewelry or having her dental surgery?
