James Marsden: ‘It Would Be Fun to Have Jack Nicholson’s Head’

Here's Johnny! Or did we mean James? What if "The Shining" starred actor James Marsden instead of Jack Nicholson?

We caught up with the "Anchorman 2" star as he helped launch the new Skylanders SWAP Force video game feature — which involves swappable heads and bodies — at Toys 'R' Us in Times Square. Since such a physical swap was the name of the game, we had to ask Marsden which celebs he'd want to trade heads and bodies with.

"It would be fun to have Jack Nicholson's head for a while, right? That'd be interesting," he said. "He's just got one of those iconic faces."

While we're curious what the 40-year-old star would do with those infamous eyebrows — would he hide them behind shades? — we won't be seeing James buying any sort of Jack in a box Halloween costumes anytime soon. And that goes for his 12-year-old son, also named Jack, as well.

"We have a rule that our costumes need to be home made. We're not big on the packaged stuff," he explained. "We've gotta make them. Even if they're not great, they're one of a kind."

But it seems Jack is pretty creative when it comes to his costume choices. "When he was younger, he always wanted to be the most obtuse things," Marsden said. "He wanted to be an escalator one year, and a tooth [another] year."

Marsden also has a daughter, Mary, 8, and a 10-month-old son, William.
