Bruce Willis' family wears sweet tribute to him at “Pulp Fiction” 30-year cast reunion

John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, and Uma Thurman reunited at the 30th anniversary reunion for Quentin Tarantino's 1994 classic.

What's better than a savory royale with cheese? A sweet tribute to Pulp Fiction star Bruce Willis, as his family honored him on the red carpet for Thursday's 30-year anniversary cast reunion with the stars of Quentin Tarantino's 1994 classic.

In place of the Die Hard star's presence at the reunion — which took place at the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival's opening night in Los Angeles — Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, and daughter Tallulah Willis, hit the red carpet while sporting a small nod to the actor who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023.

Both posed for photos on the red carpet at the event, with Tallulah wearing yellow and black — a nod to the color of Willis' boxing robe, as seen in Tarantino's film — as well as a black hat with her father's name, Bruce, embroidered on the front.

Other members of the Pulp Fiction cast also attended the event, including Samuel L. Jackson, Harvey Keitel, Uma Thurman, and John Travolta.

Prior to the reunion, Heming Willis shared an update on her life with her husband.

"Today marks our 15th wedding anniversary! And today, I can make a choice. I can wallow in sorrow or I can celebrate it. I call this the 'remarkable reframe,'" Heming Willis posted on Instagram on the couple's anniversary in March. "What I know is there is so much to celebrate. Our union and connection is probably stronger than ever. We have two bright, fun and healthy daughters. We have a family unit that is built on mutual respect and admiration. And simply, I just love and adore the man I married. I’m so proud of what we have and continue to create. So, happy crystal anniversary to us!"

Heming Willis has provided regular updates on her husband's health in recent years, ever since his diagnosis progressed from aphasia, as initially reported in 2022, to frontotemporal dementia.

"I think it was the blessing and the curse, to finally understand what was happening so that I could be into the acceptance of what is," she previously told Today in September. "It doesn't make it any less painful, but just being in the acceptance, and just being in the know of what is happening to Bruce just makes it a little bit easier."
