Call the Midwife confirms schedule change
Call the Midwife has announced an upcoming schedule change, with viewers sadly having to wait a little longer than usual for the next episode.
The show's official Instagram account confirmed that the show will not be on screens this weekend due to an important scheduling conflict.
"Due to the live BAFTA Film Awards next Sunday, Call the Midwife series 13 will continue in TWO WEEKS TIME – February 25 at 8pm on @bbcone," read the post's caption, alongside a photo of a Call the Midwife filming clapperboard.

Gracing the screen with performances instead will be Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham and pop star Sophie Ellis-Bexter, with the latter singing her smash hit "Murder on the Dancefloor" amidst it's re-found popularity following the recent release of Saltburn.
Episode 7 of Call the Midwife will follow next Sunday, with fans no doubt eager to see what's next for Trixie and Matthew and their current rocky relationship
This week's episode of Call the Midwife saw Trixie and Matthew's romance come close to breaking point, as Matthew's stress from his financial worries caused him to lash out at Trixie and accuse her of being materialistic to the core.

Although Matthew came across as incredibly cold, and proved that he didn't know that much about his wife, the two agreed to try and work through their issues.
With Olly Rix looking like he will leave the BBC One show this series, and Helen George seemingly staying on, it looks like the fan-favourite couple might be breaking up soon.
Recently, Cliff Parisi spoke about filming the show's recent beach episodes when Storm Agnes hit the UK.

"Everything was going sideways," said Parisi, who plays Fred Buckle. "The wind was unbelievable, it was so cold. I was wearing a shirt with a hanky on my head. I managed to keep the hanky the whole time – but I got hypothermia in the end.
"They had to take me off set. I had to warm up, I couldn't go back on. We'd done most of it by that point.
"It was a laugh, but it was difficult to film. Things were flying all over the place. Hair and make-up gave up and ran for cover."
Call the Midwife normally airs every Sunday night at 8pm on BBC One, but the next episode will not air until Sunday, February 25.
