Can we crown Cardi B Met Gala 2024 Queen already? She literally already has the crown. Nobody commits to the Met Gala like Cardi, and her 2024 look was no exception. For the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme, attendees were asked to adhere to a Garden of Time dress code. Many guests took the obvious floral route, but Cardi B took things a step further by transforming herself into a magnificent black rose.

Whether or not the rapper was among the night’s best dressed is a matter of opinion, but you cannot argue that she was definitely among the night’s biggest dressed. Cardi’s black tulle gown had a mermaid shape, with a fitted top portion and a voluminous skirt almost as wide as the Met steps themselves. Cardi topped the outfit with a tall black turban and finished with massive diamond earrings and a necklace, plus diamond-and-emerald rings and a bracelet to match her jade green manicure.
