Just like our hearts, the show will go on. Celine Dion, who has promised fans that she will perform again, may be getting back on the stage sooner than we think. During an interview on Watch What Happens Live, Today show host Hoda Kotb shared some inside scoop about Dion's health.

Kotb—who interviewed Dion for a TV interview timed to the singer's documentary, I Am: Céline Dion—revealed that while filming their segment, Dion dropped a hint off camera that a performance could be in our near future.

"Her manager was off-camera, and I go, 'So what's going on? When are you performing again?,'" Kotb explained. "And she goes, 'Can I tell her?' And her manager goes, 'No!' He screams, 'No.' I was like, there's something."

One viewer even hypothesized that Dion's long-awaited return could take place at the Paris Olympics later this year, which Kotb called a "spectacular" idea.

"Céline Dion at the Paris Olympics? That would be amazing, but I don’t know," she responded. "I know she’s going to be performing live again, though. I don’t know where."

WWHL host Andy Cohen chimed in, adding that he thinks it would be difficult for Dion to make a performance at the Olympics work due to her stiff-person syndrome, since it's "something she can’t control."

But Kotb insisted that an Olympics appearance wasn't totally out of the realm of possibility. “She’s gonna perform again, and there’s always gonna be a date and time to perform," she continued. "I think she says she’s got a better medical regimen, medicine that she takes."

"Before, she was just taking things to relax her muscles and was kind of taking way too much," Kotb added. "Now, she knows how much she should take and for how long. So, you never know. I mean, if she knows she’s performing at a certain hour, let’s do it."

Elsewhere during the late-night show, Kotb commended Dion on her fight against her rare medical condition.

"First of all, she's an incredible fighter. I had no idea what she had been through, how close she came at some point to actually not surviving it," Kotb praised.  "And yet here she is, and she's singing again and all those things."

During Dion's interview on the Today show, the singer guaranteed fans that she will sing for a crowd once again, even if it means she has to "crawl" onto the stage.

"I’m going to go back onstage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands. I will. I will," she promised. "I am Céline Dion, because today my voice will be heard for the first time, not just because I have to, or because I need to. It’s because I want to. And I miss it."
