The “smartest” player in the Claim to Fame house turned out to be quite the opposite in Episode 3, which ended with his unceremonious elimination from the game.

Wednesday’s hour divided the players into teams of two for a game of telephone from hell. Nearly everyone was frustrated and exhausted — if not also physically injured — after the unexpectedly physical competition, which put losing team captain Shane on the chopping block. And when Shane was forced to pick someone to join him at the bottom, he turned to self-proclaimed “wolf in sheep’s clothing” Miguel.

Knowing he was guaranteed to be named this week’s guesser, Miguel worked overtime trying to gather key intel, but no one — least of all Naomi, who directly called out his untrustworthiness — was willing to budge. When Miguel was indeed selected to guess, he confidently declared that Dedrick is related to Little Richard. He even admitted to having to hide his “s–t-eating grin,” which made it even more satisfying when Miguel turned out to be dead wrong. (All credit goes to Adam, who planted the idea in Miguel’s head to begin with.)

With Miguel officially eliminated from the game, Wednesday’s episode ended with the reveal of his surprising celebrity relative… as well as his real name.

Read on for a complete breakdown of the contestants in Claim to Fame Season 3, including major spoilers about their celebrity relatives. (Seriously, we warned you.) When you’re done, drop a comment with your thoughts on the season thus far. Who do you predict will win it all?

ADAM

ADAM
ADAM

EPISODE 1: Adam allegedly has a famous uncle who has won a Grammy, and music is definitely in his blood. He can sing just like his relative, and he’s worried that a player who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s would know his relative for sure. He also spotted his clue, a lightning bolt, on the wall.

EPISODE 2: The only thing we learned for sure this week, by way of an incorrect guess, is that Adam is not related to Dustin Hoffman. (Not that we thought he was!)

EPISODE 3: No new clues confirmed.

OUR BEST GUESS: The lightning bolt clue was a not-so-subtle nod to Adam’s uncle… Michael Bolton! If you aren’t convinced, here’s a tweet from 2016 in which Bolton commends the work his nephew was doing for the homeless.

BIANCA ROBERTS

BIANCA ROBERTS
BIANCA ROBERTS

No need for clues with this one! Episode 1 ended with the reveal that Bianca is the niece of longtime Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts.

DANNY

DANNY
DANNY

EPISODE 1: Danny wants us to believe that his uncle is a professional wrestler who has also won a Grammy, one of which is a lie.

EPISODE 2: No new clues confirmed.

EPISODE 3: His uncle once shut down a Foot Locker for him to go shopping.

OUR BEST GUESS: We aren’t familiar with any pro wrestlers who have a Grammy on their shelf, but — hear us out — Bad Bunny has made several appearances at WWE events, beginning in 2021. And he has a Grammy. Could Danny be related to the rapper, albeit not as his nephew?

DEDRICK

DEDRICK
DEDRICK

EPISODE 1: Dedrick says that his uncle, one of the most famous people in the world, is a singer who has taken home Best Rock Song of the Year multiple times — one of which is a lie. He also accidentally calls himself “Mr. Jackson” in the premiere… or is he intentionally misleading his fellow contestants?

EPISODE 2: No new clues confirmed.

EPISODE 3: Dedrick claims that his high-roller uncle is friends with the likes of Charlie Sheen, Nicolas Cage and Sean Penn. We also learned, by way of an incorrect guess, that he’s not related to Little Richard. Oh, and “giraffe” is a clue.

OUR BEST GUESS: As if Dedrick accidentally referring to himself as “Mr. Jackson” wasn’t obvious enough, allow us to confirm that is absolutely the nephew of music icon Michael Jackson.

GRACIE HYLAND

GRACIE HYLAND
GRACIE HYLAND

As revealed at the end of Episode 2, Gracie Hyland (fka “Gracie Lou”) is the niece of Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer.

HUD

HUD
HUD

EPISODE 1: The Los Angeles native claims that his mother is a singer who has won a Grammy, though we don’t yet know which of those claims is a lie.

EPISODE 2: Hud’s bottle clue [cherries, bomb, artist, owl hooting, sewing needle, thumbs up] was uncovered this week, leading Naomi to speculate that his relative is a member of The Runaways.

EPISODE 3: No new clues confirmed.

OUR BEST GUESS: Plot twist! Hud’s famous relative is indeed a Grammy Award-winning musician, but it’s not his mother — it’s his father, John Mellencamp. The proof is in People‘s handy breakdown of Mellencamp’s five children, including his 30-year-old son.

JILL

JILL
JILL

As one of the two contestants eliminated in Episode 2, Jill was revealed to be the niece of People’s Choice Award winner John Stamos. (Those sparkly Stamos eyes! We should have known.)

MACKENZIE

MACKENZIE
MACKENZIE

EPISODE 1: Mackenzie tells the group that her father is a singer who has taken home a Tony Award, but she later reveals to the viewers that her father doesn’t actually have any ties to Broadway.

EPISODE 2: Mackenzie’s famous father has a famous goatee.

EPISODE 3: No new clues confirmed.

OUR BEST GUESS: Mackenzie’s famous father is none other than goatee’d country star Trace Adkins. Look no further than her Instagram account.

MIGUEL RAPHAEL CURTIS

MIGUEL RAPHAEL CURTIS
MIGUEL RAPHAEL CURTIS

“Miguel” (aka Raphael) thought he had this one in the bag, but an incorrect guess at the end of Episode 3 knocked him out of the game early, revealing his celebrity aunt to be… Jamie Lee Curtis!

NAOMI

NAOMI
NAOMI

EPISODE 1: She claims that her cousin is a singer who has won a Young Artist Award. And while she does display vocal chops in the talent show, another contestant reminds us that musical talent isn’t necessarily hereditary. Her bottle clue spells out “Brat Pack,” along with a tiara and a club with four coffees and croissants (aka she’s the “princess” in The Breakfast Club).

EPISODE 2: We didn’t technically learn anything new about Naomi’s relative this week, but we also didn’t need to. We’ve already got that one figured out.

EPISODE 3: No new clues confirmed.

OUR BEST GUESS: This one’s too easy — Molly Ringwald! Not only was Ringwald one of the most famous members of the Brat Pack, but her character in The Breakfast Club was referred to as the “princess” of the group. What’s more, her role in Sixteen Candles earned her a Young Artist Award.

SHANE

SHANE
SHANE

EPISODE 1: This chicken-necklaced individual says that his (alleged) Oscar-winning cousin is a Hollywood icon, an actor who isn’t afraid to be on stage in front of a lot of people. He also claims to have had birthdays at Michael Jackson’s famed Neverland Ranch.

EPISODE 2: Shane and his family, or at least his sister, have had dinner with Elizabeth Taylor.

EPISODE 3: Michael Jackson is his sister’s godfather.

OUR BEST GUESS: When it came to his two truths and a lie, Shane was apparently making up the part about his relative being his cousin. We also doubt that anyone would guess it based on the clues provided thus far, but as it turns out, Shane is the grandson of legendary actor Marlon Brando. He’s even listed in Brando’s Wikipedia entry.
