Costco just opened new Sacramento-area store — and it’s hiring. What jobs are available?
Costco just opened its newest store in the Sacramento area — and it’s hiring.
More than 10,000 customers flocked to the opening of Costco at 3881 East Commerce Way at Arena Boulevard on Thursday.
The buzzing crowds that filled the 160,000-square-foot warehouse included newly minted Costco member Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg and folks who camped overnight to take advantage of deals.
The popular membership-only retailer is accepting job applications on its website for the North Natomas Costco and another Costco store that’s scheduled to open in Loomis in mid-May.
However, that doesn’t mean Costco is actively hiring.
“The following are examples of the typical kinds of positions that Costco may hire for when openings exist,” the retailer said on its website. “This listing does not mean that any positions are currently open or available at Costco.”
According to the website, Costco posts open positions on external websites, such as Indeed and Monster, for candidates outside the company.
Here are some positions that The Sacramento Bee found online.
