Dallas Mavericks release 2023-24 regular season schedule. Who’s their first opponent?

The Dallas Mavericks 2023-24 NBA regular season schedule has been released and the team will open the season on the road against No. 1 draft pick Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 on Oct. 25 at AT&T Center.

The Mavs will be looking to rebound after a season that saw them fail to make the playoffs in polarizing fashion.

The Mavs bring back most key players from last season’s squad minus Christan Wood who was not resigned in free agency and Reggie Bullock who was traded in part of the Grant Williams acquisition.

The Mavs added Seth Curry, Dante Exum and Williams in free agency and drafted Dereck Lively II with the 10th pick in the 2023 draft.

The Mavs have the 11th-best odds to win the NBA title according to FanDuel Sportsbook but Luka Doncic has the third-best odds to win the NBA MVP.
