Diamondbacks rookies put on their Sunday best

Who says a major league team far out of playoff contention can’t have some fun?

Well, 10 rookies from the 57-80 Arizona Diamondbacks, who sit 16 games out of the second wild-card spot in the National League, sure know how.

Fresh off a series win over Colorado, the Diamondbacks boarded a plane for San Diego on Sunday night, only the rookies didn’t abide by the usual travel dress code.

It was time for the annual dress up day, so these first-year players raised some eyebrows with their costumes: French maid, baby, Jazzerciser, and more!

After landing in San Diego, the Diamondbacks bus stopped for the walk of shame in the famed Gaslamp District and the rookies had to walk about 10 blocks to the team hotel.

Last season, the Diamondbacks rookies did their best cheerleading impression for their teammates before a spring training stretching session along with a high school squad.
