Drivers Urged to Take Alternate Route After Road Collapses in Palestine

A section of a local road was closed in Palestine, Texas, on Sunday, May 4, due to a “cave in” transport officials said.

The Texas Department of Transportation urged drivers to use an alternate route as Balloon Base Road was closed following damage.

The Westside Fire Department said there were several county roads with water over them.
