EastEnders star responds to major Cindy Christmas fan theory

EastEnders star Michelle Collins has shared her thoughts on a big Christmas fan theory about the hugely anticipated upcoming murder mystery.

Following February's dramatic flashforward episode, the soap established The Six – a.k.a Linda Carter, Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox and Sharon Watts – as major players in the shock death, after they were shown gathered around an unidentified dead body.

However, since the surprise return of Cindy Beale over the summer, some fans have suggested that she may also become entangled in the drama and make the group The Seven.

Star Collins has now responded to the theory on X / Twitter, after commenting on a photo of a group of fans dressed in six different colours, just like The Six are dressed in the big Christmas episode and in promo shots and appearances.

After the fan said that "we dressed in six colours and think cindy should be the seventh!!" Collins responded with, "Ah yes I joined very late when the six had been established ! Great storyline though x".

However, after another fan commented: "I'm convinced you're part of the Six somehow!", she responded with a thoughtful emoji (as reported by Metro).

With some fans convinced that a secret seventh person is going to be involved in the murder scene, could Cindy be about to get embroiled in even more drama?

EastEnders fans are anticipating a Christmas full of excitement, with the mystery murder victim set to be revealed at last and The Six coming together for their shared storyline.

Viewers can also expect to see more marital drama for Jack Branning and Denise, the big returns of Lauren and Penny Branning, and a Christmas miracle for Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
