Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson Are Engaged: “Gossip Girl” Alum Says 'I Hit the Jackpot' After Switzerland Proposal
The couple met in 2021, and went public with their romance the following year
Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson are engaged.
The Gossip Girl actor proposed to the actress during a recent getaway to Gstaad. Westwick popped the question on the Peak Walk by Tissot, Switzerland’s scenic hanging mountain bridge.
Their happy news was shared by the couple in a joint Instagram post on Monday morning. "Hell YES 💍," Jackson, 31, captioned her post, while Westwick, 36, wrote on his Instagram Story, "I hit the jackpot xxx."
Westwick got down on one knee on the walkway, which hangs 3,000 meters high between the View Point in Les Diablerets and Scex Rouge in Gstaad. And his proposal appeared to come as a surprise to Jackson, who held her hands over her mouth in shock.
The couple were dressed in ski gear for the occasion. She wore all white ensemble while he kept it grounded in green and brown earth tones.
After Jackson said yes, she and her husband-to-be posed for photos. The actress made sure to show off her sparkling diamond ring, though not close enough to make out exactly what type of cut Westwick purchased.

Jackson is mom to 4-year-old son Andreas Panayiotou, whom she shares with her former partner, George Panayiotou.
She and Westwick first met at Silverstone racetrack in 2021, where both were attending an Aston Martin event. He asked her out on a double coffee date with their dogs, her poodle Herbert and his Frenchie, Humphrey.
"He knew how to win me over from the get-go…coffee and dogs,” she told Lifestyle Asia in August 2023.
The two went public with their relationship on Instagram in June 2022, and made their red carpet debut that July, at the National Film Awards.

"Happy Birthday to the love of my lifeeeee," Jackson wrote in June to celebrate Westwick's big day. "I thank God for you everyday. You’re home and an adventure of a lifetime all mixed into one."
"If you don’t already know… these are the things about you that I’m most thankful for," she said, listing "making kindness the coolest, making me laugh during the times I only wanted to cry, your jawline 😮💨, your napping ability, your constant love, support, encouragement along with the Tony Robbins esque pep talks, your huge heart and deepest soul."
Jackson was born in Douglas on the Isle of Man, and began her modeling career in the UK at the age of 15. She won the Miss Teen World title two years later, in 2009.
In 2010, she entered into the world of acting when Indian film producers offered her a lead role in the period drama Madrasapattinam. She's built an acting career in Bollywood since, starring in nearly 20 films including popular titles like 2015's Singh Is Bliing and 2018's 2.0, which made history as India's most expensive film at the time of its release.
