Eva Mendes responds to Ryan Gosling's viral 'I'm Just Ken' win reaction

Eva Mendes was in stitches just as much as the next Barbie fan when her longtime partner Ryan Gosling bagged the Best Song award at the Critics Choice Awards.

Aired earlier this month, the awards ceremony saw Gosling receiving the prize for his humorous anthem 'I'm Just Ken,' which has gone on to become one of the most memorable moments in Greta Gerwig's critically acclaimed movie.

Beating contenders including Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish, Gosling reacted to his win by giving a side eye to the camera, clearly puzzled about what was going on.

After Gosling's response to the win went viral online, Mendes took to her Instagram to post a GIF of her partner's reaction, writing: "I LOVE HIM!!!!"

The two actors started dating in 2011, after meeting while filming The Place Beyond The Pines together. Their daughters Esmeralda and Amada were born in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

The sweet post had several fans leaving excited comments about the couple, who usually keep their personal lives very private.

"One of the best couples in the industry," was one comment, while another person wrote: "This is the sweetest post of this or any year."

Gosling's expression also amused Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, who commented: "So brilliant!" with a cry laughing emoji.

As for whether Gosling will have to perform at the Oscars if 'I'm Just Ken' is nominated, he confirmed recently that he hasn't actually been invited to yet.

"I wasn't thinking about it until now, and now it's all I'm going to think about," he told W Magazine earlier this month.

"Do you get paid to sing at the Oscars? Do you have to drive yourself? What kind of scratch is involved? They pick you up at least, right?"

Gosling did not perform 'City of Stars' from La La Land at the 2017 Oscars, with his co-star John Legend performing a medley including the track and 'Audition'.

If you're rooting for Gosling to go full Ken at the Oscars this year, you may want to keep an eye on this year's nominations, which are set to be announced on January 23.

Ken the EP, featuring 'I'm Just Ken', is available to stream or buy via outlets including Apple Music/iTunes, Amazon Music, Deezer, Spotify, Soundcloud, TIDAL and YouTube Music.
