‘Frasier’ Adds Greer Grammer As *Spoiler’s* Daughter In Season 2

EXCLUSIVE: Another Grammer will appear in the Paramount+ series Frasier next season.

Greer Grammer (Awkward, The Middle) will guest star on the series as Roz Doyle’s (Peri Gilpin) daughter Alice all grown up. Now in her late twenties, friendly, outgoing Alice has inherited more than some of her mother’s free-spirited ways. Having just moved to Providence to study architecture, Alice is eager to catch up with Frasier’s son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott)—and complicate whatever romantic plans he may have.

Gilpin appeared in one episode of the new Frasier last season and was previously announced to be returning for Season 2 in a recurring capacity. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles at Paramount Studios.

The series follows Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston to face new challenges, forge new relationships and – with hope – finally fulfill an old dream or two.

In addition to Grammer2 and Cutmore-Scott, Frasier also stars Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Frasier and Freddy’s neighbor; and Anders Keith as David, Frasier’s nephew.

The series comes from writers Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life in Pieces), who executive produce with Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. CBS Studios produces in association with Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of the Paramount+ markets.

Grammer began her acting career with a guest starring role on Nickelodeon’s iCarly and shortly to follow, she landed the role of ‘Lissa Miller’ in the MTV scripted comedy series Awkward. Grammer then went on to play ‘April’ in ABC’s The Middle and served as Miss Golden Globes 2015 at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards.

Grammer most recently produced and starred in the hit film for Netflix Deadly Illusions alongside Kristin Davis and Dermot Mulroney. She can next be seen in the independent feature Blunt, opposite Amy Smart, Billy Zane and Matthew Davis as well as the independent feature The Ghost Trap which Greer co-produced alongside Peter A. Couture, Simon Fawcett, Larry Mortorff, K. Stephens, director James Khanlarian and fellow co-star Zak Steiner.
