Girl, 8, found safe and sleeping in stolen vehicle
An 8-year-old girl was found safe and sleeping in a vehicle that was stolen early this morning in Edmonton.
Police say the vehicle was taken from a gas station at 132nd Avenue and 97th Street, with the child inside.
Police first sent out an Amber Alert through social media, but it was quickly taken down after the vehicle was found parked a few blocks away.
Police believe the keys may have been left inside the vehicle at the gas station.
No word yet on any suspects.
