Gisele Bündchen Is "Deeply Disappointed" by "Disrespectful" Tom Brady Roast With "Irresponsible Content"
People could simply not keep Gisele Bündchen's name out of their mouths at Tom Brady's recent Netflix roast. And nope, the model was not thrilled by the many jokes about her and Tom's divorce / her relationship with jiujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
A source tells People that Gisele is "deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show," adding that her priority is to "support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted."
The source added that "This past week, Gisele has been tirelessly dedicated to aiding those in need in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is grappling with the worst flooding in its history. She was concerned about family affected by the devastating floods, so to hear her life being joked about was very disappointing."
Meanwhile, an insider "close to the Netflix production" told Page Six that everyone at the roast agreed Tom and Gisele's kids would be off limits, and confirmed Tom didn't know any of the jokes in advance. The outlet also reports that Gisele was particularly upset by Tom taking a moment to defend New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft when he felt jokes went too far, but not defend her.
Per Page Six "Brady’s defense of Kraft while he stood aside and let comic after comic rip on his marriage felt to his ex-wife like proof that he still cares more about the football world than his personal life."
