Romance has been a main character in the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival plot set in beautiful Southern France.

Couples including Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart and Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen have shared sweet, photo-worthy moments as celebrities gather on red carpets for premieres and star-studded affairs.

Notoriously private, Flockhart and Ford made a rare – and adorable – red carpet appearance at the premiere of Ford's "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," which hits theaters June 30. The pair held hands while Flockhart stood beside her husband who sported a cheeky grin in some photos as they posed for photographers.
