Hilary Duff shares beautiful announcement days after giving an ‘eviction notice’

Twelve days after sending a message to her fans and loved ones on social media, Hilary Duff has shared exciting news.

On May 3, 2024, Duff became a mom of four when she and her husband, Matthew Koma, welcomed another little girl into the world.

On Instagram, Duff shared several images from her at home water birth, revealing that they named their baby girl Townes Meadow Bair.

On April 22, the actress took to her Instagram story to share a message, asking people to stop asking her when their baby was coming. “Hi friends,” Duff wrote on her Instagram Stories, “This is meant in the kindest tone (I promise). I am no longer responding to texts or dms about ‘when baby is coming!’”

“I know everyone is checking in with love and humor, however, trust me nobody wants it more than me,” Duff continued. “Babies come when they are ready. I am trying my best to be patient! The days are long and uncomfortable. Promise I will let you know.”

In her birth announcement, Duff explained that “now we know why she made us wait so long. She was perfecting those cheeks!”

“I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you, and smell you has been pure moments of magic. We all love you like you’ve been here all along, beauty.”

Townes is Duff’s fourth child, her third with Koma. She also shares a son with her first husband.

People in the comments congratulated Duff and Koma on their beautiful little girl, welcoming her into the world. Many comments applauded the name they chose as well.

According to Babynames.com, Townes isn’t a popular name in the United States and derives from the “Old English ton, which means settlement.”

And from the sounds of it, Townes Meadow has certainly settled into her family of six quite nicely.
