90 Day: Happily Ever After stars Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise are taking fans inside their African wedding!

After first marrying in 2022, the reality TV couple said "I do" all over again in Blaise's home country of Cameroon on June 30 last year. Now, they are sharing all the details of their second nuptials with PEOPLE. TLC also featured highlights of the wedding in the latest episode of the series, which aired on Sunday, June 23.

Bieberly and Blaise — who also appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 9 and 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk — welcomed more than 100 guests to a mountain hotel venue in the city of Buea, where they held a traditional ceremony for the groom's family.

"We really wanted to embrace a traditional Cameroonian wedding," Bieberly tells PEOPLE. "It was important to us to be able to give Kobe’s dad a wedding he would never forget. We wanted to honor all the traditions of Kobe’s culture."

While they had a clear vision for their nuptials, the couple had very little time to pull all of the details together. "We only had two weeks to plan our wedding, so we hired a wedding planner who was able to work with Kobe’s family and friends to give us the most perfect day," Bieberly says.

The event's decor was directly inspired by Blaise's culture, and full of vibrant color. Bieberly notes, "The vibe in Kobe’s words was 'cool.' "

The ceremony featured Cameroonian traditions such as the bride walking around with a cup of palm wine and searching for her groom to give it to him. "While she’s walking around, she’s teasing other men pretending they are her groom. When she finds her groom, she presents him with the palm wine, and he drinks it," Bieberly explains of the tradition.

There was also a traditional exchange of gifts, with members of each side of the family presenting theirs to the couple. "One of my favorite gifts I was given was a live chicken! I was shocked when they handed it to me. Obviously, I couldn’t take the chicken home, but I did bring home the basket [it was in]," recalls Bieberly.

Bieberly wore a wedding dress created by local designer Fredo Fashion for the occasion. "I absolutely loved my dress, and it only took him one week to design and make," she tells PEOPLE, noting that the dress' color palette represented her father-in-law's tribe.

Per Cameroonian wedding tradition, instead of the couple reading vows to each other, their fathers gave speeches.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a buffet-style dinner featuring local fare such as fufu, eru, achu, okongobong and koki beans. Bieberly says food was a top priority for her husband.

"Kobe really wanted the best food for the wedding, and I must say it was excellent. Even little Scarlett enjoyed it," she says, referring to the couple's 2-year-old daughter, whom they welcomed in October 2021. The pair also share two sons — Koban, who will turn 5 in July, and Atem, 3 months.

Throughout the wedding celebration, guests also were treated to performances by local dancers and singers.

Bieberly tells PEOPLE she "was excited to embrace Kobe's culture" and experience a traditional Cameroonian wedding with him. "I was excited that my parents and our children were there to witness and take part. I was excited to see our love shared with all of Kobe’s friends and family," she says. "And I was really excited to finally be able to look like a traditional Cameroonian bride for my husband."

She adds, "TLC has never had a wedding in Cameroon, so this was extremely special for us to share with the viewers."

For Bieberly, the opportunity to honor both of their cultures with two separate weddings was a "special" and unforgettable experience.

"To marry my best friend twice was a dream," she says. "Marriage is a lifelong commitment and marriage is hard, but if you marry the right person, it’s easy."

Taking a moment to reflect on the challenges the two have faced in their relationship together since first meeting in China while working abroad, Bieberly says she and her husband have "come out stronger than ever."

"Kobe and I have gone through a lot with him being in Cameroon when Koban was born [in 2019], not being able to come to America because of Covid, finally getting here and living in my parents' basement," she explains. "It’s been quite the journey, but I admire our relationship so much because we’ve come out stronger than ever."

"I love Kobe," she continues. "He is such a great dad. I really couldn’t have asked for a better husband and father for our children. At least once a week, I tell him he’s, my soulmate. How crazy is it that he is from Cameroon and I am from Salina, Kansas, and we met in a bar in China? In my opinion, that is fate!"

As they look to the future, the couple says they are ready for "more adventure, children, love and enjoying the life we've built."

"It’s exciting to wake up to our family we’ve created and have new adventures together. We want to be able to give our children both sides of our cultures [and opportunities to] travel the world and have the best childhood," Bieberly tells PEOPLE, adding of Blaise: "We fall more in love with each other every single day."
