Jason Oppenheim is keeping an open mind when it comes to his former employee Christine Quinn.

The Oppenheim Group president, 47, revealed he’d be “on board” with the former Oppenheim Group agent, 35, coming back to the hit Netflix real estate docusoap as long as everyone else is fine with it, he told TMZ on Thursday, June 13.

“I have nothing against her coming back. I think everyone deserves a second chance,” he told the outlet. “I think I would be on board, but that would be a group decision.”

He added that although there are “a lot of people involved” in making that decision — including Netflix and the current cast members — he would “be for it, if everyone else was.”

Quinn left Selling Sunset in 2022 after five seasons on the show. Following her departure, she revealed that she was starting her own business venture with her now-estranged husband Christian Dumontet.

"I terminated my contract when the brokerage launched," she told PEOPLE, referring to her and Dumontet’s crypto real estate venture RealOpen. "I had to make a business decision that was for me, so I had to terminate the contract so I could move it over to my brokerage."

Despite her exit, Quinn said she remained on good terms with Oppenheim.

"Jason knew. I told him. Him and I had had conversations a year prior. I told him I was doing my own thing. I don't think anyone actually thought...I think they thought I was bluffing; I don't think they actually thought I was working on a company, I don't know. But I told them for a year that I was working on this. Everyone knows.”

She added, “Jason and I, we have a really good understanding. I told him, 'This comes from a career move. I have to do my own thing.' So that's why I made the company."

Around the same time the How to Be a Boss B---h author left the show, Quinn’s former friend and co-star Mary Bonnet opened up to PEOPLE about their intense falling out.

"I'm professional and will do whatever it takes to communicate and interact with anybody if it's a work-related thing, but for Christine and I, personally, I feel like I've given chance after chance," Bonnet said at the time. "Honestly, I just don't think about her. She's not involved in any of our lives and we don't hang out together."

The pair appear to have reconciled since then, as Quinn was photographed with Oppenheim, Bonnet and Selling Sunset star Nicole Young at an event in Los Angeles earlier in June. The group of four were all smiles as they posed with their arms around each other.

Along with Oppenheim, Young and Bonnet, Selling Sunset currently stars Chelsea Lazkani, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Chrishell Stause, and Bre Tiesi. The show has been renewed for an eighth season, Oppenheim confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter in November 2023.

Quinn's outing with her former co-stars comes in the midst of her ongoing divorce from Dumontet.

Days before the event, Quinn accused her estranged husband of violating the temporary restraining order she has against him after he allegedly had an acquaintance "spy" on her at the L.A. home they once shared.

Quinn was previously still living at the property with the couple's son, Christian Georges Dumontet, however she claims she was not at home at the time of the alleged incident, according to a court filing obtained by PEOPLE.

In May, Dumontet was formally charged with three misdemeanors (child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protection order) following his two arrests in March in connection with a domestic violence incident involving their son at the home.

Dumontet officially filed for divorce from Quinn on Friday, April 5 after nearly five years of marriage.
