Jennifer Lopez Calls Ben Affleck "Our Hero" in Father's Day Tribute Post Amid Divorce Rumors
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might be going through a rough patch in their relationship, but the Atlas star made sure to shout out her husband on Father's Day. Hopping on Instagram, J.Lo posted a black-and-white picture of Ben along with the caption "our hero" and "Happy Father's Day."
It's unclear if the couple spent the day together, but Jennifer Garner was seen visiting her ex on Sunday. Meanwhile, J.Lo was spotted visiting Ben in the Brentwood home he's renting one day earlier on Saturday, June 15.
Back on May 28, an Us Weekly source said Ben and Jen communicate "primarily to discuss essential matters and updates." But while divorce rumors are circulating (TMZ claims their split is "imminent") a friend tells Daily Mail that J.Lo is committed to saving the marriage: "She wants this marriage to work so much that she is willing to make any sacrifice including giving up being J.Lo. She doesn't want to be divorced. She doesn't want to end up like Madonna—on her own at 60."
The source added "She lets him smoke, which is huge—she hates smoking and to be around that as a singer is a straight no, but he never gave up when they were dating and married. She won't give up this relationship. She's going out there looking as normal as she can. It's sad to see her dimming her shine to try to keep him."
