Jill Kargman, David Krumholtz, Justin Bartha & Christine Taylor To Topline Comedy ‘Miracle On 74th Street’
EXCLUSIVE: Jill Kargman (Odd Mom Out), Justin Bartha (The Hangover), David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer) and Christine Taylor (Search Party) have been set to topline Miracle on 74th Street, an indie comedy from director Rachel Israel (The Floaters), which has wrapped production.
Others in the cast include Laura Bell Bundy, Eugene Cordero, Jessica Capshaw, Clara Wong, Jason Biggs, Jenny Mollen, Sol Miranda, Olli Haaskivi, Nathan Lee Graham, and Dan Hedaya. Then, there’s Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow, who will appear in cameos.

Written by Kargman, Carol Hartsell, and Sean Crespo, Miracle on 74th Street follows renowned influencer Dzanielle as she navigates fake friends among the black card-swiping, Ozempic-sharting, workout-addicted Upper East Siders. In her comedic quest for a million followers, she finds her first real new friend and her true self.
Producers on the film include Tiny Office Productions’ SJ Allocco-St. Germain and Arielle Haller-Silverstone, Akward Productions’ Mandy Ward, and Steven Ast. Jill and Harry Kargman of Iocane Productions served as executive producers alongside Lizzie Tisch, Daryl Roth, and Regina K. Scully. Lily Korman, Becky Korman, and Shai Korman co-exec produced, with CAA Media Finance aboard to rep the film’s North American rights.
Best known for creating and starring in Bravo’s sitcom Odd Mom Out, which ran for three seasons, Kargman has also appeared in A Bad Moms Christmas and other titles.
Known for roles in The Hangover and National Treasure franchises, Bartha has recently been seen on series like Godfather of Harlem and The Accidental Wolf, as well as indies like Dear Zoe and Nuked.
Most recently seen in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and the indie comedy Lousy Carter, Krumholtz is part of the cast of the adult animated series Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which premieres on Prime Video on July 11.
Coming off of series like High Desert and Search Party, Taylor is also known for her work in films like Dodgeball, Zoolander and The Wedding Singer, among many other titles.
Israel previously made her feature directorial debut with the rom-com Keep the Change, based on her same-name short, which won multiple prizes, including the Jury Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature, in its world premiere at Tribeca. Next up for release is her comedy The Floaters, starring Jackie Tohn, Sarah Podemski, and Aya Cash.
