Kansas State Wildcats find new radio home for basketball, football games in Wichita

Kansas State fans in the Wichita area will be able to listen to the Wildcats on a new radio station this year.

K-State athletics has partnered with Audacy on a multi-year broadcast partnership that will make KFH Radio the new Wichita-market affiliate for all of the Wildcats’ upcoming basketball and football games.

Fans will be able to listen to Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber call K-State action on both 1240 AM and 97.5 FM. The new agreement includes all K-State football and men’s basketball broadcasts, in addition to select women’s basketball action.

“We are delighted to partner with K-State athletics and become the home of the university’s football and basketball programs,” said Becky Domyan, senior vice president and market manager of Audacy Wichita. “This partnership brings together a passion for sports and a commitment to delivering unparalleled coverage to Wildcat fans across the region. We look forward to capturing the electrifying moments and the shared spirit of K-State sports throughout the year.”

The new radio partnership was facilitated through Learfield.

“We’re excited to announce this new partnership with Audacy Wichita,” said Ben Boyle, general manager of K-State Sports Properties. “The Wichita market is such an important one for the K-State fan base and these stations give us excellent reach and coverage in the area.”
