Kate Middleton Captures a Sweet Photo of Prince William With Their Kids for Father's Day 2024

After a major outing for the Wales family yesterday at Trooping the Colour 2024, Kensington Palace released a brand-new photo of Prince William and his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to mark Father's Day. The photo, like many Wales family photos, was taken by Kate Middleton:

The caption read, "We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day," signed "G, C & L," the first time a social media post has been attributed to the royal siblings. Like Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte's recent birthday portraits, the picture was posted straight on the Prince and Princess of Wales's social media channels. It shows William and his three children on the beach in Norfolk, looking at the water.

Earlier, the Prince and Princess also shared a photo of King Charles and Prince William, reportedly taken in the gardens of Kensington Palace in June 1984:

This week, Prince William is set to travel to Germany to attend the Euro 2024 tournament, planning to attend England's second group stage match against Denmark. Last week, he visited the team's training camp, offering the players some advice from his children.

"The best bit of advice I got was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat!" William said. "So, I now have visions of you running around with massive great tummies. So maybe take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt, particularly around the physio team."

His journey out of the country is set to take place after Kate's appearance at Trooping the Colour 2024 yesterday, which the Palace has cautioned does not signify a return to royal duties. "My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months," Kate wrote in a personal letter on Friday. "On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home."

According to a Kensington Palace spokesperson, Prince William is "pleased to see The Princess starting to engage with the work and projects that are important to her. He will continue to focus his time on supporting his wife and children, while continuing to undertake his public duties."
