It's Father's Day this weekend and it's expected to include sun, cloud and warm temperatures.

In Guelph, the annual Love Your Bike Festival is on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. with caffeine and a bike check, then group rides followed by a barbecue.

The Guelph Beer Bus runs Saturday, taking people to multiple breweries in the city. On Sunday morning, Fixed Gear Brewing in Guelph is hosting a Cars and Coffee classic car show.

YMCA Camp Ki-Wa-Y is marking 100 years at its location in St. Clements on Saturday afternoon with lots of outdoor activities including canoeing, archery, forest walks and a campfire.

In Cambridge, there will be the grand opening of the new soccer complex at 10 a.m. at 880 Linden Drive. After the ribbon cutting, there will be free activities including free entertainment.

The Kitchener Panthers are on the road this weekend, in Hamilton Friday night and in Chatham-Kent on Sunday afternoon.

The Guelph Royals are in Brantford Friday night, host the Welland Jackfish Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hastings Stadium, then travel to Welland on Sunday afternoon.

Grand River Black Music Festival and Conference

Friday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This festival includes ticketed and free events and focuses on celebrating Black artists while also helping them in their creative pursuits.
There are workshops, panel discussions, film screenings, vendors, and so much music.

Artists scheduled to perform over the course of the weekend include: Jully Black, Erroll Starr and Tribz, Reharm, Zochi, the Toronto Mass Choir, Solitair and there will also be a Black emerging artist spotlight.

Throughout Kitchener

Neighbours Day in Kitchener is like a city-wide porch party, with pop-up concerts and celebrations throughout the community.

An interactive map is available through the city's website and gives performer names and times so people can plan accordingly.

Open Streets Festival

Saturday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Uptown Waterloo

There will be lots of activity on the streets Saturday afternoon, including an art market with more than 20 vendors, live performances from K-W Breakers, giant games and a ball run factory, caricatures done by local artist Aoe Girard and music.

Board and bowl sale and raffle

Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

K-W Woodworking and Craft Centre, 123 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener

This member-based workshop holds an annual sale and raffle of items donated by the people who use the space. Among the items up for the raffle include charcuterie and cutting board with matching coasters, bowls, a lounge chair and a model truck. Other donated items will also be for sale with proceeds being donated to community groups.

It's also a chance to see what this space is about if you've never had a chance to visit.
