Lancôme Announces Hoyeon Jung as Global Brand Ambassador

Lancôme just announced Netflix star and model Hoyeon Jung and music artist Aya Nakamura as its newest global ambassadors.

Jung, known for her breakout role in Squid Game, began her career as a model when she was just 16 and made her international runway debut in 2016. Since then, the South Korean actor has worked with the likes of adidas, Chanel and Calvin Klein alongside walking the runway for Louis Vuitton and becoming the first Korean personality to have a solo Vogue cover.

The brand also tapped Mali-born, Afro-trap artist, Nakamura, to be a global brand ambassador -- following the release of her viral track, "Djadja." Nakamura has become known as the "queen of French pop," since beginning her music career back in 2014.

Little else is known about the brand's plans for its two new ambassadors, but we expect to see them feature pretty heavily in future campaigns.

In other beauty news, Mugler tapped Euphoria's Hunter Schafer for its new "Angel Elixir" fragrance.
