Marshalls store in Parrish has an opening date. New restaurants are on the way too

Marshalls plans to open its third department store in Manatee County this week, according to the company web page and a banner across the front of the new store.

The store in the Creekside Commons shopping center, 8830 U.S. 301 N., Parrish, opens Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m.

Regular hours will be 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday, the company web page says.

“At Marshalls Parrish, you’ll discover an amazing selection of high-quality, brand name and designer merchandise at prices that thrill across fashion, home, beauty and more,” the company said.

Marshalls is part of TJX Companies, an off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions. Other stores under the TJX umbrella include T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods.

Marshalls is the latest addition to Creekside Commons. The first anchor, a Lowes home improvement store, opened in December 2022 and was followed by HomeGoods and Aldi grocery.

New restaurants coming

Also coming to Creekside Commons is an Outback Steakhouse, and two restaurants that have not been previously announced: Kelly’s Roast Beef and Oar & Iron Raw Bar & Grill.

The Kelly’s Roast Beef would be the second in Manatee County. The first, which opened in December 2022 at University Town Center, 5207 University Parkway, was also the first outside of New England.

Kelly’s is known for its lobster rolls as well as its roast beef.

Other restaurants planned for Creekside Commons include Ono Poke and 3Natives Acai & Juicery, according to paperwork filed with Manatee County Development Services.
