Martha Stewart on the possibility of dating Pete Davidson: 'Everybody loves him'

Will Martha Stewart and Pete Davidson be Hollywood's next it couple?

The lifestyle mogul, 81, appeared on "The Drew Barrymore Show" Tuesday where she weighed in on her dynamic with the "Saturday Night Live" alum. The pair made waves in April after Stewart shared a photo holding hands with Davidson at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which marked the comedian's red carpet debut with Kim Kardashian.

During a game on the talk show, Barrymore asked Stewart if a date having as many tattoos as Davidson was a red, yellow or green flag for her. Stewart was quick to raise a green flag, leading Barrymore to question if she could see herself actually saying the comedian.

"He’s dated so many women. I’m not saying that’s bad. I think that’s good," the lifestyle mogul said. "He’s sort of cute. I know everybody loves him."

The comedian, 28, has been linked to Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, "Bridgerton" star Phoebe Dynevor, Kate Beckinsale, Cazzie David and more over the years.

Barrymore pointed out that "age is not a thing" for Davidson considering his dating history. Stewart was quick to shoot down the idea that she would be the comedian's next girlfriend.

"He's like my lost son," she said.

Stewart and Davidson first met in 2015 when they teamed up on Comedy Central's roast of Justin Bieber.

"(Davidson) was this little twerp. He was even twerpier than Bieber," Stewart said jokingly to Barrymore.

She added: "He is a good guy. Very good guy and he knows how to get in and get out."

In May, Stewart told USA TODAY Davidson "was so cute" and "charming" when she first met him, then just starting his tenure on "SNL."

"There are bad boys and there are good boys, and he's a good boy," she said of Davidson's appeal, adding he is "quiet and gawky and cute."
