The State’s Player of the Year: Cam Scott, Lexington

Player of the Year (fan vote): Alex Atkinson, Lower Richland

All-area team

Alex Atkinson, Lower Richland: Senior was Region 5-3A Player of Year, all-state selection and picked for Carolinas Classic in helping Diamond Hornets to Class 3A semifinals. The Presbyterian commit averaged 18 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and two steals this season.

TJ Bell, Westwood: Region 5-4A Player of Year, all-state selection, picked for North-South all-star game and averaged 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists in helping the Redhawks to the school’s first region championship in school history.

Zay Buckley, Columbia: Senior was Region 4-2A Co-Player of the Year and averaged 19 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Evan Carter, Cardinal Newman: Senior was all-region, North-South selection and named to SCISA all-tournament team in helping the Cardinals to SCISA 4A championship. Carter averaged 12.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

Korie Corbett, Ridge View: Sophomore was all-state selection and averaged 16 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.1 assists.

Yasir Cromer, River Bluff: Junior guard was all-state selection and averaged 14 points, 6.1 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals.

Kaleb Evans, Lexington: Junior averaged 14.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, four assists and 1.9 steals in helping the Wildcats to the Class 5A championship.

Jaiden Haltiwanger, Hammond: Junior was all-region averaged 16 points, six rebounds and four assists this season for the Skyhawks.

Lamont Jackson, CA Johnson: Senior was Region 3-A Player of Year, all-state selection and averaged 18 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.4 assists this year.

TJ Lewis, Blythewood: Junior was all-region selection and averaged 12 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists and two steals a game.

Izzy Macklin, Camden: Senior was all-state selection, selected for North-South game and averaged 20 points five rebounds and two steals this season.

Jayden Pretty, Ridge View: Senior was Carolinas Classic all-star selection and averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1.8 blocks in helping the Blazers to the Class 4A state championship.

Jaxon Prunty, Lexington: Senior was all-state selection and picked for Carolinas Classic. Prunty averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 steals in helping the Wildcats to the Class 5A championship.

Asa Price, Eau Claire: Senior was all-region selection and averaged 19.5 points, three rebounds and two steals a game.

Cam Scott, Lexington: Senior was Region 4-5A Player of Year, all-state selection, Carolinas Classic selection, signed to play at Texas and averaged 22 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.3 steals in helping Lexington to first state championship since 2000.

Justin Skelton, Spring Valley: Senior was Region 3-5A Player of the Year, North-South All-Star and all-state selection. Skelton averaged 18.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.9 assists.

Drew Spires, Richard Winn: Senior was SCISA 4-A Player of Year, North-South selection and averaged 19.5 points, three rebounds and 2.5 steals a game.

Brian Sumpter, Keenan: Junior was all-state selection and averaged 12.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.1 assists this season.

Braysen Stockman, Ben Lippen: Sophomore guard was all-region selection and averaged 20.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Cooper Wiley, AC Flora: Senior was North-South All-Star selection and averaged 12.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals and one block per game.

Dylan Smith, North Central: Senior was all-state selection, Region 5-2A co-player of year and averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Braylhan Thomas, Gray Collegiate: Senior was all-state and Carolinas Classic all-star selection in helping War Eagles to third straight Class 2A championship. The Georgia Southern signee averaged 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
