Michael Jackson Remembered by Daughter Paris: ‘Happy Father’s Day to All My Homies Out There That Don’t Have One’

The 26-year-old musician shared two throwback photos of her late dad on her Instagram Stories

Paris Jackson is remembering her late father on Father’s Day.

On Sunday, June 16, the singer-songwriter, 26, shared two throwback photos of Michael Jackson on her Instagram Stories.

The first post was of her father holding her and kissing her forehead many year ago when she was baby. The "Thriller" pop star rocked his signature black curls tied away from his face and sported a pair of black sunglasses.

Jackson followed the post with a family photo of Michael, mother Debbie Rowe, 65, and brother Prince Jackson, 27.

She captioned the group photo with a sweet message to people grieving their fathers on this special occasion: "happy father's day to all my homies out there that don’t have one. we not alone."

In February, Jackson teased her upcoming music on an episode of Jade Iovine's podcast Live From Bed and she said it might "be hard for some people to hear" because of its "touchy" lyrics.

When asked what was the hardest thing to sing or write about in her new music, the singer said that none of it is necessarily challenging because "it's my story."

"I mean, is some of it going to be hard for some people to hear? For sure, yeah, because what I'm talking about is a lot of touchy things," she shared.

In addition to Paris and Prince, Michael is also father to Bigi Jackson, 22. He was born via surrogate in 2002 as Prince Michael Jackson II, and was known as Blanket before changing his name to Bigi in 2015.

He did a rare interview with Good Morning Britain in 2021, spoking about his desire to make an impact in the world. "That's what each of us [siblings] want to do — make things that people enjoy but also benefit their lives," he said.

He is close to Prince, with a family friend telling PEOPLE in 2019 that the two are "best friends" who love science fiction and science.

In September, the two were spotted at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE show is performed, and posed for a rare family photo.
