From mimosas to dinner on the water, here’s new Myrtle Beach area spots to try for date night

With all the restaurant choices in the Myrtle Beach area, it can be daunting picking a new place to eat.

This year, dozens of new restaurants have opened across the Grand Strand.

For those wanting to take their significant other to a new place for dinner or brunch, or maybe spend a night away from the kids, there’s everything from mimosas, to enjoying seafood on the water.

Here are a few places you might want to consider.

Brunch near the beach

One of the newest breakfast and lunch spots is a short walk from the beach.

Mimosas opened in June and offers patrons multiple seating options. Couples can sip a mocha on the patio, sit at the outside bar or inside at a bar that stretches nearly the restaurant’s length.

Guests can also choose from an extensive list of mimosa drinks and order from a menu that includes pancakes, waffles and other breakfast lunch items. Mimosas’ signature dish is the lobster waffle topped with breaded lobster, caramelized bacon, greens, corn, orange shavings and a citrus aioli sauce.

The Quay’s menu is filled with seafood and other dishes. Popular choices include a specialty chicken sandwich and flounder sandwich, and the restaurant also offers specialty drinks like its “Quay Juice,” a rum cocktail complimented with pineapple juice, Sprite, blue curacao and triple sec.
