Missouri man dies after being struck by lightning at Holden rodeo
A man died after being struck by lightning at a rodeo in Holden Friday, according to a press release posted to the Holden Police Department Facebook page.
Emergency services responded to a call from the Holden Chamber of Commerce Rodeo around 11:09 p.m. regarding a man allegedly struck by lightning in the parking area, according to the release.
The 53-year-old victim was transported from the scene and later died, according to the release.
The man’s identity has not yet been publicly released.
