More artists, including The Beach Boys, added to Lovin’ Life Music Fest lineup
What’s expected to be Charlotte’s “biggest, boldest music festival” just got even bigger.
After announcing what we thought was the full lineup for the inaugural Lovin’ Life Music Fest, organizers have added three more surprise artists to perform in uptown this spring.
The Beach Boys, Parmalee and Happy Landing will now be hitting the stage alongside dozens of other national and local pop, hip hop and rock stars at the first-of-its-kind festival. Lovin’ Life is set for May 3-5 in the heart of uptown’s First Ward at 300 N Brevard St.
“We are pleased to welcome Beach Boys, Parmalee, and Happy Landing to the Lovin’ Life
Music Fest lineup,” Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, said in a statement. “These acts contribute to the diverse musical experience we aim to deliver.”
Post Malone, DaBaby, Stevie Nicks: The lineup for Lovin’ Life Music Fest in Charlotte
Fans across the region have been eagerly waiting for the Lovin’ Life since news of the new event dropped back in December. The team behind the festival, who also runs Carolina Country Music Fest and the Barefoot Country Music Fest, expect about 90,000 people to come out to the music festival that will also feature interactive activities, an on-site muralist, food, crafts, giveaways and more.
“Charlotte’s ready for its own signature event,” Rob Pedlow, co-founder and partner at Southern Entertainment, previously said. “Lovin’ Life will be our very own Charlotte-flavored Lollapalooza, a new economic engine for the Queen City creating jobs, supporting area nonprofits and drawing music enthusiasts from across the Carolinas and beyond.”
They’re hoping it’ll be Charlotte’s biggest, boldest music festival ever. Will it work?
