Don’t forget brunch! Grab reservations at these special spots for Mother’s Day this Sunday

Looking for a special brunch or meal spot to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday? These Whatcom County restaurants will be open and serving delicious meals to honor your loved ones.
Bellewood Farms
Bellewood Farms will host a Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 14. The brunch will include a buffet and complimentary mimosas for mothers. The buffet brunch costs $30 for adults and $15 for children three to 10 years old. The farm also invites visitors to stroll through the blossoming cherry trees. Reservations are not available.
Bellewood Farms is at 6140 Guide Meridian Road in Lynden.
The Loft Restaurant
The Loft Restaurant will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner with a water view on Mother’s Day. Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the restaurant’s lunch and dinner menu will be served from noon to 8 p.m. Reservations can be made online or by calling 360-306-5668. The Loft Restaurant is at 1801 Roeder Ave. in Bellingham.
Skylark’s Cafe
Skylark’s Café in Fairhaven is currently taking reservations for its Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 3-9 p.m. on May 14. The cafe will also have special dishes for the holiday, including blueberry coffee cake, strawberry rhubarb shortcakes, smoked salmon fettuccine, mimosa flights and a Spring sangria. Reservations can be made online or by calling 360-715-3642. Skylark’s Cafe is at 1308 11th St. in Bellingham.
Lighthouse Grill
Hotel Bellwether’s Lighthouse Grill restaurant will host a special Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 14. The bay-view restaurant’s special holiday menu includes an egg benedict and omelet bar, seafood, a carving station, salads, sushi, Belgian waffles and a dessert bar. Reservations are required and are already filling up, according to an email from the restaurant, and can be made online or by calling 360-392-3100. The Lighthouse Grill is located inside of Hotel Bellwether at 1 Bellwether Way in Bellingham.
Chuckanut Bay Distillery
Chuckanut Bay Distillery’s Penny Farthing restaurant will serve a special Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 14. The brunch includes a breakfast buffet, pastries and dessert, complementary mimosas for mothers, coffee, and a carving board. Reservations are required and can be made online. The brunch costs $55 for adults, $25 for ages 10 and under and children 5 and under eat for free. Chuckanut Bay Distillery and the Penny Farthing restaurant is at 1309 Cornwall Ave.
