Motorcyclist, 37, dies in fatal collision with SUV in Etobicoke

A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Thursday.

Toronto police were called about a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV near Kipling Avenue and Jutland Road at around 3:20 p.m.

Police say the victim — who was first reported to be in his 20s — was riding a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Kipling Avenue, when a 17-year-old driving a 2021 Hyundai Tucson attempted a left turn to go southbound and crashed with the motorcyclist.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The traffic services unit is investigating.
