Ursula Andress celebrates 50 years of James Bond

It's been 50 years since James Bond got sweet on Ursula Andress in "Dr. No," but the 76-year-old actress still has some killer style.

The Swiss star, famous for playing first ever-Bond girl Honey Ryder in 1962, vamped it up in Bern, Switzerland, on Saturday for a gala celebrating 50 years of 007.

You may remember Andress in "Dr. No" emerging from the sea in a white bikini and asking Sean Connery if he was looking for shells.

"No, I'm just looking," he replied.

And so was everyone else.

"My entrance in the film wearing the bikini on that beautiful beach made me world famous as 'the Bond girl,'" Andress told the BBC in 2001, when her bikini sold for almost $65,000.

Though her heavy accent meant her character was voiced by Nikki van der Zyl, Andress went on to win a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year in 1964 for playing Honey. Three years later, she starred as Vesper Lynd in the 007 parody "Casino Royale."

The blond bombshell's most notable post-Bond film roles were in "What's New Pussycat" (1965) and "Clash of the Titans" (1981), and in the early '80s she played Carole Stanton in "The Love Boat." This was followed by appearances in a series of little-known TV movies, as Andress all but quit acting to focus on raising her son with "Titans" co-star Harry Hamlin (with whom she reportedly lived from 1978 to 1982).

Andress's last role was in the 2005 Swiss filmmaking satire "Die Vogelpredigt."
