Just a few months after debuting on Billboard's Hot 100 list with “Talking,” the song is giving North West another “first," with the 10-year-old officially directing her first music video.
On April 30, ¥$ (the artist duo made up of North West's father, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign) released a second music video for their Vultures 1 song “Talking” and the tapped West, whose also featured on the song, to pen and direct it. You can watch the video below:
According to its YouTube description, the new video for talking was directed and written by North West, who is credited not only there but also in the title. The project was co-directed by Aus Taylor Post, with production by Medet and cinematography by Karim Belkasemi.
As expected, Miss Westie takes center stage in the new “Talking” music video. She is often accompanied by a group of fellow tweens and even shares some valued screen time with her dad.
North West's music career seems to be a lot of her time these days. Aside from directing this music video, the 10-year-old also claimed she was working on her debut album — supposedly called Elementary School Dropout in reference to her father’s debut studio album — back in March.
